يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُوْا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَۙ ( البقرة: ٢١ )
yāayyuhā
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you
l-nāsu
ٱلنَّاسُ
mankind!
uʿ'budū
ٱعْبُدُوا۟
worship
rabbakumu
رَبَّكُمُ
your Lord
alladhī
ٱلَّذِى
the One Who
khalaqakum
خَلَقَكُمْ
created you
wa-alladhīna
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and those [who]
min
مِن
from
qablikum
قَبْلِكُمْ
before you
laʿallakum
لَعَلَّكُمْ
so that you may
tattaqūna
تَتَّقُونَ
become righteous
Yaaa aiyuhan naasu'budoo Rabbakumul lazee khalaqakum wallazeena min qablikum la'allakum tattaqoon (al-Baq̈arah 2:21)
Sahih International:
O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous – (Al-Baqarah [2] : 21)
