فَمَنْۢ بَدَّلَهٗ بَعْدَمَا سَمِعَهٗ فَاِنَّمَآ اِثْمُهٗ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ يُبَدِّلُوْنَهٗ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌ ۗ ( البقرة: ١٨١ )
faman
فَمَنۢ
Then whoever
baddalahu
بَدَّلَهُۥ
changes it
baʿdamā
بَعْدَمَا
after what
samiʿahu
سَمِعَهُۥ
he (has) heard [it]
fa-innamā
فَإِنَّمَآ
so only
ith'muhu
إِثْمُهُۥ
its sin
ʿalā
عَلَى
(would be) on
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
yubaddilūnahu
يُبَدِّلُونَهُۥٓۚ
alter it
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
samīʿun
سَمِيعٌ
(is) All-Hearing
ʿalīmun
عَلِيمٌ
All-Knowing
Famam baddalahoo ba'da maa sami'ahoo fa innamaaa ismuhoo 'alallazeena yubaddi loonah; innallaha Samee'un 'Aleem (al-Baq̈arah 2:181)
Sahih International:
Then whoever alters it [i.e., the bequest] after he has heard it – the sin is only upon those who have altered it. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 181)

Then, whoever changes it after he has heard it, its sin will only be on those who change it. Surely, Allah is All-hearing, All-knowing.
