Al-Hijr Verse 67

And there came the men of the city, rejoicing.

The people of the city came [to Lot] rejoicing.

And the people of the city came rejoicing.

The people of the town came along, revelling,

And there came the people of the city rejoicing

The inhabitants of the city came in (mad) joy (at news of the young men).

In the meantime the people of the city came to Lot rejoicing.

Then came the people of the city, exulting at the news.

And the people of the city came rejoicing. (* To the house of Prophet Lut.)

The people of the city came, rejoicing.

The people of the city came rejoicing at the news (that some handsome guests had arrived).

And the residents of the city came rejoicing (to the house of Lot).

And the city`s/town`s people came cheerful/rejoicing ."

And the people of the city came rejoicing. (* To the house of Prophet Lut.)

Then the people of the city came, glad at the tidings (of the arrival of the young men).

And the inhabitants of the city came rejoicing (at the news of the young men's arrival).

And We made known to him this decree, that the roots of these should be cut off in the morning.

And the people of the town came rejoicing.

And the people of the city came, rejoicing at the news (of new arrivals).

The people of the town rejoicingly

The people of the city came to him rejoicing.

And the inhabitants of the city came rejoicing.

The people of the town came along, revelling,

And the people of the town came joyfully.

And then came the people of the city, the city of Sodom, that is, the people of Lot, upon being told that there were handsome clean-shaven individuals -- namely, the angels -- in the house of Lot, rejoicing (yastabshirn is a circumstantial qualifier), desiring to commit an abomination with them.

The People of the City arrive upon the Angels, thinking that they are Men

Allah tells;

وَجَاء أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ



And the inhabitants of the city came rejoicing.

Allah tells us about how Lut's people came to him when they found out about his handsome guests, and they came happily rejoicing about them.

قَالَ إِنَّ هَوُلاء ضَيْفِي فَلَ تَفْضَحُونِ
