Al-Hijr Verse 66

We revealed to him this decree: “Those ˹sinners˺ will be uprooted in the morning.”

We conveyed this decree to him that these [people] will be exterminated by early morning.”

And We decreed for him that commandment, that the last remnant of those should be cut off in the morning.

We made this decree known to him: the last remnants of those people would be wiped out in the morning.

And We decreed unto him this commandment because the last of those was to be cut off in the early morning.

And We made known this decree to him, that the last remnants of those (sinners) should be cut off by the morning.

And We communicated to him the decree that by the morning those people will be totally destroyed.

We issued this command to him, for they were going to be destroyed in the morning.

And We informed him the decision of this command, that at morning the root of the disbelievers would be cut off.

We apprised him of the matter that these will be rooted out by dawn.

We made clear to him that decisive decree, that the root of those (sinful people) was to be cut off in the morning.

And We appraised him (-Lot) with certainty that the roots (and last remnants) of these people are to be cut off when they rise at dawn.

And We ordered/passed judgment to him (of) that the matter/affair/order/command, that those (people`s) root/remainder (is) cut off/severed by the morning/daybreak.

And We informed him the decision of this command, that at morning the root of the disbelievers would be cut off.

And We made plain for him the decree that the uttermost one of these people should be cut off on the morrow.

And We made known this decree to him, that the root of those (sinners) was to be cut off in the early morning.

So travel with thy followers for a part of the night and thyself follow their rear; and let not any one of you turn round, and go whither you are commanded.

And We revealed to him this decree, that the roots of these shall be cut off in the morning.

And We made plain the case to him, that the root of them (who did wrong) was to be cut at early morn.

We informed him that the unbelievers would be utterly destroyed.

And We made known to him this decree that the wrongdoers were to be utterly cut off in the morning.

And We made this decree known to him that those (sinners) would be rooted out in the early morning.

We communicated to him Our decree that the guilty ones would be destroyed by the morning.

And We informed him of Our decree: the last remnant of these will be uprooted by early morning.

And We conveyed, We revealed, to him the matter, which was, that these [sinners] was to be eradicated by morning (musbihn is a circumstantial qualifier,), in other words, their annihilation will take place in the morning.

وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ الَامْرَ



And We made this decree known to him,

meaning - We already told him about that.

أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَوُلاء مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ



that those (sinners) would be rooted out in the early morning.

meaning in the morning, as in another Ayah;

إِنَّ مَوْعِدَهُمُ الصُّبْحُ أَلَيْسَ الصُّبْحُ بِقَرِيبٍ

Indeed, morning is their appointed time. Is not the morning near! (11;81
