اِرْجِعُوْٓا اِلٰٓى اَبِيْكُمْ فَقُوْلُوْا يٰٓاَبَانَآ اِنَّ ابْنَكَ سَرَقَۚ وَمَا شَهِدْنَآ اِلَّا بِمَا عَلِمْنَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِلْغَيْبِ حٰفِظِيْنَ ( يوسف: ٨١ )
ir'jiʿū
ٱرْجِعُوٓا۟
Return
ilā
إِلَىٰٓ
to
abīkum
أَبِيكُمْ
your father
faqūlū
فَقُولُوا۟
and say
yāabānā
يَٰٓأَبَانَآ
O our father!
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
ib'naka
ٱبْنَكَ
your son
saraqa
سَرَقَ
has stolen
wamā
وَمَا
and not
shahid'nā
شَهِدْنَآ
we testify
illā
إِلَّا
except
bimā
بِمَا
of what
ʿalim'nā
عَلِمْنَا
we knew
wamā
وَمَا
And not
kunnā
كُنَّا
we were
lil'ghaybi
لِلْغَيْبِ
of the unseen
ḥāfiẓīna
حَٰفِظِينَ
guardians
Irji'ooo ilaaa abeekum faqooloo yaaa abaanaaa innab naka saraq; wa maa shahidnaaa illaa bimaa 'alimnaa wa maa kunnaa lilghaibi haafizeen (Yūsuf 12:81)
Sahih International:
Return to your father and say, 'O our father, indeed your son has stolen, and we did not testify except to what we knew. And we were not witnesses of the unseen. (Yusuf [12] : 81)

Go back to your father and say, ‘Our father, your son has committed theft, and we do not testify except what we know, and we could not guard against the unseen.
