Yusuf Verse 34

So his Lord responded to him, turning their cunning away from him. Surely He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

So his Lord answered his prayer and protected him from their guile. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

So his Lord answered him, and He turned away from him their guile; surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.

and his Lord answered his prayer and protected him from their treachery- He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing.

Then his Lord answered to him, and averted their guile from him; verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower!

So his Lord hearkened to him (in his prayer), and turned away from him their snare; Verily He heareth and knoweth (all things).

Thereupon his Lord granted his prayer, and averted their guile from him. Surely He alone is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

His Lord heard his prayer, and averted the women's wiles from him. He verily hears and knows everything.

So his Lord heard his prayer and repelled the women’s deceit away from him; indeed He only is the All Hearing, the All Knowing.

So his Lord answered him and turned away their stratagems from him. Indeed, He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.

So his Lord answered him and averted from him their guile. Surely He it is Who is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

So his Lord accepted his prayer and turned away their (- women´s) guile from him. Verily, He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

So his Lord answered/replied to him, so He diverted from him their (F) conspiring , that He truly is the hearing/listening, the knowledgeable.

So his Lord heard his prayer and repelled the women’s deceit away from him; indeed He only is the All Hearing, the All Knowing.

Said he, "O My Lord! Prison is dearer to me than what they call on me to do; and unless you turn from me their wiles I shall incline unto them and shall be among the foolish."

So his Lord answered his invocation and turned away from him their plot. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

He said: My Lord, the prison is dearer to me than that to which they invite me. And if Thou turn not away their device from me, I shall yearn towards them and be of the ignorant.

Thereupon his Lord accepted his prayer and turned away their guile from him; surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

So his Lord heard his prayer and fended off their wiles from him. Lo! He is Hearer, Knower.

His Lord heard his prayers and protected him from their guile; He is All-hearing and All-knowing.

His Lord answered him and He turned their guile away from him. Indeed, He is the Hearer, the Knower.

So his Lord answered his invocation and turned away from him their plot. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

So his Lord answered him and warded off their guile. He is All Hearing and All Knowing.

Thereupon his Lord answered him, and diverted their scheming away from him. He is the Hearer, the Knower.

So his Lord answered him, his supplication, and He fended off their wiles from him. Truly He is the Hearer, of words, the Knower, of deeds.

فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُ رَبُّهُ

"I will feel inclined towards them and be one of the ignorant."

So his Lord answered his invocation.

Yusuf, peace be upon him, was immune from error by Allah's will, and He saved him from accepting the advances of the wife of the Aziz. He preferred prison, rather than accept her illicit call. This indicates the best and most perfect grade in this case, for Yusuf was youthful, beautiful and full of manhood. His master's wife was calling him to herself, and she was the wife of the Aziz of Egypt. She was also very beautiful and wealthy, as well as having a great social rank. He refused all this and preferred prison, for he feared Allah and hoped to earn His reward.

فَصَرَفَ عَنْهُ كَيْدَهُنَّ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ



and turned away from him their plot. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

It is recorded in the Two Sahihs that the Messenger of Allah said,

سَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلاَّ ظِلُّهُ

إِمَامٌ عَادِلٌ

وَشَابٌّ نَشَأَ فِي عِبَادَةِ اللهِ

وَرَجُلٌ قَلْبُهُ مُعَلَّقٌ بِالْمَسْجِدِ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْهُ حَتَّى يَعُودَ إِلَيْهِ

وَرَجُلَنِ تَحَابَّا فِي اللهِ اجْتَمَعَا عَلَيْهِ وَتَفَرَّقَا عَلَيْهِ

وَرَجُلٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَأَخْفَاهَا حَتَّى لَا تَعْلَمَ شِمَالُهُ مَا أَنْفَقَتْ يَمِينُهُ

وَرَجُلٌ دَعَتْهُ امْرَأةٌ ذَاتُ مَنْصِبٍ وَجَمَالٍ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللهَ

وَرَجُلٌ ذَكَرَ اللهَ خَالِيًا فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَاه

Allah will give shade to seven, on the Day when there will be no shade but His;

A just ruler,

a youth who has been brought up in the worship of Allah,

a man whose heart is attached to the Masjid, from the time he goes out of the Masjid until he gets back to it,

two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's cause only,

a man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given,

a man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for illicit intercourse with her and says;"I am afraid of Allah, and

a person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes are then flooded with tears."
