تَبَّتْ
Perish
يَدَآ
(the) hands
أَبِى
(of) Abu
لَهَبٍ
Lahab
وَتَبَّ
and perish he
Tab bat yadaa abee Lahabinw-wa tabb
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.
مَآ
Not
أَغْنَىٰ
(will) avail
عَنْهُ
him
مَالُهُۥ
his wealth
وَمَا
and what
كَسَبَ
he earned
Maa aghna 'anhu maaluhu wa ma kasab
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
سَيَصْلَىٰ
He will be burnt
نَارًا
(in) a Fire
ذَاتَ
of
لَهَبٍ
Blazing Flames
Sa yas laa naran zaata lahab
He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ
And his wife
حَمَّالَةَ
(the) carrier
ٱلْحَطَبِ
(of) firewood
Wam ra-atuh hamma latal-hatab
And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.
فِى
Around
جِيدِهَا
her neck
حَبْلٌ
(will be) a rope
مِّن
of
مَّسَدٍۭ
palm-fiber
Fee jeediha hab lum mim-masad
Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
