عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَنْكَۚ لِمَ اَذِنْتَ لَهُمْ حَتّٰى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكَ الَّذِيْنَ صَدَقُوْا وَتَعْلَمَ الْكٰذِبِيْنَ ( التوبة: ٤٣ )
(May) Allah forgive
عَفَا
Möge verzeihen
(May) Allah forgive
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
you!
عَنكَ
dir.
Why (did)
لِمَ
Warum
you grant leave
أَذِنتَ
hast du erlaubt
to them
لَهُمْ
ihnen,
until
حَتَّىٰ
bis
(became) evident
يَتَبَيَّنَ
klar geworden sind
to you
لَكَ
für dich
those who
ٱلَّذِينَ
diejenigen, die
were truthful
صَدَقُوا۟
wahrhaftig sind
and you knew
وَتَعْلَمَ
und du weißt
the liars?
ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
die Lügner?
`Afā Allāhu `Anka Lima 'Adhinta Lahum Ĥattaá Yatabayyana Laka Al-Ladhīna Şadaqū Wa Ta`lama Al-Kādhibīna. (at-Tawbah 9:43)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Allah verzeihe dir! Warum hast du ihnen erlaubt (, zurückzubleiben), bevor sich dir diejenigen klar gezeigt haben, die wahrhaftig sind, und du die Lügner kennst? ([9] At-Tauba (Die Reue) : 43)
English Sahih:
Allah has pardoned you, [O Muhammad, but] why did you give them permission [to remain behind]? [You should not have] until it was evident to you who were truthful and you knew [who were] the liars. ([9] At-Tawbah : 43)
