اِنَّآ اَنْذَرْنٰكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيْبًا ەۙ يَّوْمَ يَنْظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُوْلُ الْكٰفِرُ يٰلَيْتَنِيْ كُنْتُ تُرَابًا ࣖ ( النبإ: ٤٠ )
Indeed We
إِنَّآ
Gewiss, Wir
[We] have warned you
أَنذَرْنَٰكُمْ
haben euch gewarnt
(of) a punishment
عَذَابًا
(vor) einer Strafe
near
قَرِيبًا
nahen
(the) Day
يَوْمَ
(am) Tag, (an dem)
will see
يَنظُرُ
schauen wird
the man
ٱلْمَرْءُ
der Mensch
what
مَا
was
have sent forth
قَدَّمَتْ
vorausgeschickt haben
his hands
يَدَاهُ
seine Hände
and will say
وَيَقُولُ
und sagen wird
the disbeliever
ٱلْكَافِرُ
der Ungläubige
"O I wish!
يَٰلَيْتَنِى
Wehe mir!
I were
كُنتُ
Wäre ich (doch)
dust!"
تُرَٰبًۢا
Erde
'Innā 'Andharnākum `Adhābāan Qarībāan Yawma Yanžuru Al-Mar'u Mā Qaddamat Yadāhu Wa Yaqūlu Al-Kāfiru Yā Laytanī Kuntu Turābāan (an-Nabaʾ 78:40)

Wir warnen euch ja vor naher Strafe, am Tag, da der Mensch schauen wird, was seine Hände vorausgeschickt haben, und der Ungläubige sagen wird; "O wäre ich doch Erde!" ([78] an-Naba (Die Kunde) : 40)
English Sahih:
Indeed, We have warned you of an impending punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust!" ([78] An-Naba : 40)
