وَاِذْ قَالَ مُوْسٰى لِقَوْمِهٖ يٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُوْنَنِيْ وَقَدْ تَّعْلَمُوْنَ اَنِّيْ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ اِلَيْكُمْۗ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوْٓا اَزَاغَ اللّٰهُ قُلُوْبَهُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الْفٰسِقِيْنَ ( الصف: ٥ )
Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsaá Liqawmihi Yā Qawmi Lima Tu'udhūnanī Wa Qad Ta`lamūna 'Annī Rasūlu Allāhi 'Ilaykum Falammā Zāghū 'Azāgha Allāhu Qulūbahum Wa Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Al-Fāsiqīna. (aṣ-Ṣaff 61:5)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Und als Musa zu seinem Volk sagte; "O mein Volk, warum fügt ihr mir Leid zu, wo ihr doch sicher wißt, daß ich Allahs Gesandter an euch bin?" Als sie nun abschweiften, ließ Allah ihre Herzen abschweifen. Und Allah leitet das Volk der Frevler nicht recht. ([61] as-Saff (Die Reihe) : 5)
English Sahih:
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, why do you harm me while you certainly know that I am the messenger of Allah to you?" And when they deviated, Allah caused their hearts to deviate. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people. ([61] As-Saf : 5)

Und (erinnere daran), als Musa zu seinen Leuten sagte; "Meine Leute! Weshalb beleidigt ihr mich, wo ihr bereits wisst, daß ich doch ALLAHs Gesandter zu euch bin?" Und als sie abwichen, ließ ALLAH ihre Herzen abweichen. Und ALLAH leitet die fisq-betreibenden Leute nicht recht.
