وَمَآ اَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعٰنِ فَبِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَۙ ( آل عمران: ١٦٦ )
And what
وَمَآ
Und was
struck you
أَصَٰبَكُمْ
euch traf
(on the) day
يَوْمَ
(am) Tage
(when) met
ٱلْتَقَى
des Treffens
the two hosts
ٱلْجَمْعَانِ
der beiden Heere,
by (the) permission
فَبِإِذْنِ
so (war dies) mit (der) Erlaubnis
(of) Allah
ٱللَّهِ
Allahs
and that He (might) make evident
وَلِيَعْلَمَ
und um zu kennen
the believers
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
die Gläubigen.
Wa Mā 'Aşābakum Yawma At-Taqaá Al-Jam`āni Fabi'idhni Allāhi Wa Liya`lama Al-Mu'uminīna. (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:166)

Und was euch an dem Tag traf, da die beiden Heere aufeinandertrafen, so (geschah) das mit Allahs Erlaubnis, - damit Er die Gläubigen kennt ([3] Al-i-IImran (Die Sippe Imrans) : 166)
English Sahih:
And what struck you on the day the two armies met [at Uhud] was by permission of Allah that He might make evident the [true] believers ([3] Ali 'Imran : 166)
