فَخَرَجَ عَلٰى قَوْمِهٖ فِيْ زِيْنَتِهٖ ۗقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ يُرِيْدُوْنَ الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا يٰلَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَآ اُوْتِيَ قَارُوْنُۙ اِنَّهٗ لَذُوْ حَظٍّ عَظِيْمٍ ( القصص: ٧٩ )
Fakharaja `Alaá Qawmihi Fī Zīnatihi Qāla Al-Ladhīna Yurīdūna Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā Yālayta Lanā Mithla Mā 'Ūtiya Qārūnu 'Innahu Ladhū Ĥažžin `Ažīmin. (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:79)

Und so trat er zu seinem Volk in seinem Schmuck heraus. Diejenigen, die das diesseitige Leben begehrten, sagten; "O hätten doch (auch) wir das gleiche wie das, was Qarun gegeben worden ist! Er hat wahrlich gewaltiges Glück." ([28] al-Qasas (Die Geschichten) : 79)
English Sahih:
So he came out before his people in his adornment. Those who desired the worldly life said, "Oh, would that we had like what was given to Qarun. Indeed, he is one of great fortune." ([28] Al-Qasas : 79)
