اَللّٰهُ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ اَلْحَيُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ ەۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهٗ سِنَةٌ وَّلَا نَوْمٌۗ لَهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِيْ يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهٗٓ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِهٖۗ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْۚ وَلَا يُحِيْطُوْنَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهٖٓ اِلَّا بِمَا شَاۤءَۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَۚ وَلَا يَـُٔوْدُهٗ حِفْظُهُمَاۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيْمُ ( البقرة: ٢٥٥ )
Allāhu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-Ĥayyu Al-Qayyūmu Lā Ta'khudhuhu Sinatun Wa Lā Nawmun Lahu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Man Dhā Al-Ladhī Yashfa`u `Indahu 'Illā Bi'idhnihi Ya`lamu Mā Bayna 'Aydīhim Wa Mā Khalfahum Wa Lā Yuĥīţūna Bishay'in Min `Ilmihi 'Illā Bimā Shā'a Wasi`a Kursīyuhu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Wa Lā Ya'ūduhu Ĥifžuhumā Wa Huwa Al-`Alīyu Al-`Ažīmu. (al-Baq̈arah 2:255)

Allah - es gibt keinen Gott außer Ihm, dem Lebendigen und Beständigen. Ihn überkommt weder Schlummer noch Schlaf. Ihm gehört (alles), was in den Himmeln und was auf der Erde ist. Wer ist es denn, der bei Ihm Fürsprache einlegen könnte - außer mit Seiner Erlaubnis? Er weiß, was vor ihnen und was hinter ihnen liegt, sie aber umfassen nichts von Seinem Wissen - außer, was Er will. Sein Thronschemel umfaßt die Himmel und die Erde, und ihre Behütung beschwert Ihn nicht. Er ist der Erhabene und Allgewaltige. ([2] al-Baqara (Die Kuh) : 255)
English Sahih:
Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 255)

ALLAH ist ER, es gibt keine Gottheit außer Ihm, Der Lebendige (ohne Ende), Der Allverantwortliche. Ihm kommt weder Schläfrigkeit noch Schlaf bei. Ihm gehört, was in den Himmeln und was auf Erden ist. Wer ist dieser, der bei Ihm Fürsprache einlegen könnte außer mit Seiner Zustimmung?! ER weiß, was vor ihnen und was hinter ihnen ist, doch sie umfassen nichts von Seinem Wissen außer dem, was ER will. Das Kursi von Ihm umfaßt die Himmel und die Erde, und Ihm fällt es nicht schwer, sie zu bewahren. Und ER ist Der Allhöchste, Der Allerhabene.
