وَاِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاۤءَ فَبَلَغْنَ اَجَلَهُنَّ فَاَمْسِكُوْهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوْفٍ اَوْ سَرِّحُوْهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوْفٍۗ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوْهُنَّ ضِرَارًا لِّتَعْتَدُوْا ۚ وَمَنْ يَّفْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهٗ ۗ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوْٓا اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ هُزُوًا وَّاذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَآ اَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنَ الْكِتٰبِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ يَعِظُكُمْ بِهٖ ۗوَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ ࣖ ( البقرة: ٢٣١ )
Wa 'Idhā Ţallaqtum An-Nisā' Fabalaghna 'Ajalahunna Fa'amsikūhunna Bima`rūfin 'Aw Sarriĥūhunna Bima`rūfin Wa Lā Tumsikūhunna Đirārāan Lita`tadū Wa Man Yaf`al Dhālika Faqad Žalama Nafsahu Wa Lā Tattakhidhū 'Āyāti Allāhi Huzūan Wa Adhkurū Ni`mata Allāhi `Alaykum Wa Mā 'Anzala `Alaykum Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Al-Ĥikmati Ya`ižukum Bihi Wa Attaqū Allāha Wa A`lamū 'Anna Allāha Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun. (al-Baq̈arah 2:231)

Und wenn ihr euch von Frauen scheidet und sie dann ihre festgesetzte Zeit erreichen, so behaltet sie in rechtlicher Weise oder gebt sie in rechtlicher Weise frei. Doch behaltet sie nicht mit der Absicht der Schädigung, so daß ihr übertretet. Wer dies tut, der fügt sich ja selbst Unrecht zu. Und macht euch nicht über Allahs Zeichen lustig. Und gedenkt Allahs Gunst an euch und dessen, was Er von dem Buch und an Weisheit auf euch herabgesandt hat, um euch damit zu ermahnen. Und fürchtet Allah und wißt, daß Allah über alles Bescheid weiß. ([2] al-Baqara (Die Kuh) : 231)
English Sahih:
And when you divorce women and they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has certainly wronged himself. And do not take the verses of Allah in jest. And remember the favor of Allah upon you and what has been revealed to you of the Book [i.e., the Quran] and wisdom [i.e., the Prophet's sunnah] by which He instructs you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Knowing of all things. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 231)

Und wenn ihr von den Ehefrauen die Talaq-Scheidung vollzogen habt und sie sich dem Ende ihrer Wartezeit näherten, dann behaltet sie gemäß dem Gebilligten oder entlasst sie gemäß dem Gebilligten. Und behaltet sie nicht zum Schädigen, um Übertretung zu begehen. Und wer solches macht, der beging bereits Unrecht gegen sich selbst. Und nehmt euch ALLAHs Ayat nicht zum Spott! Und gedenkt der Gabe ALLAHs euch gegenüber und dessen, was ER euch von der Schrift und der Weisheit hinabsandte, um euch damit zu ermahnen. Und handelt Taqwa gemäß ALLAH gegenüber und wisst, daß ALLAH gewiß über alles allwissend ist.
