قَالَ اَبَشَّرْتُمُوْنِيْ عَلٰٓى اَنْ مَّسَّنِيَ الْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُوْنَ ( الحجر: ٥٤ )
He said
قَالَ
Er sagte;
"Do you give me glad tidings
أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِى
"Verkündet ihr mir frohe Botschaft,
"Do you give me glad tidings
عَلَىٰٓ
obwohl
although
أَن
dass
has overtaken me
مَّسَّنِىَ
mir widerfahren ist
old age?
ٱلْكِبَرُ
hohes Alter?
Then about what
فَبِمَ
So über was
you give glad tidings?"
تُبَشِّرُونَ
verkündet ihr mir frohe Botschaft?"
Qāla 'Abashshartumūnī `Alaá 'An Massanī Al-Kibaru Fabima Tubashshirūna. (al-Ḥijr 15:54)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Er sagte; "Ihr verkündet (es) mir, obwohl mir das hohe Alter widerfahren ist! Was verkündet ihr mir denn da?" ([15] al-Higr : 54)
English Sahih:
He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" ([15] Al-Hijr : 54)
