قَالَ هَلْ اٰمَنُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ اِلَّا كَمَآ اَمِنْتُكُمْ عَلٰٓى اَخِيْهِ مِنْ قَبْلُۗ فَاللّٰهُ خَيْرٌ حٰفِظًا وَّهُوَ اَرْحَمُ الرّٰحِمِيْنَ ( يوسف: ٦٤ )
He said
قَالَ
Er sagte;
"Should
هَلْ
"Soll
I entrust you
ءَامَنُكُمْ
ich euch anvertrauen
with him
عَلَيْهِ
mit ihm,
except
إِلَّا
außer
as
كَمَآ
wie
I entrusted you
أَمِنتُكُمْ
ich euch anvertraut habe
with
عَلَىٰٓ
mit
his brother
أَخِيهِ
seinem Bruder
before?
مِن
von
before?
قَبْلُۖ
vorher?
But Allah
فَٱللَّهُ
So Allah
(is) the best
خَيْرٌ
(ist) besser
Guardian
حَٰفِظًاۖ
(als) Behütender
and He
وَهُوَ
und er
(is the) Most Merciful
أَرْحَمُ
(ist der) Barmherzigste
(of) the merciful"
ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
der Barmherzigen."
Qāla Hal 'Āmanukum `Alayhi 'Illā Kamā 'Amintukum `Alaá 'Akhīhi Min Qablu Fa-Allāhu Khayrun Ĥāfižāan Wa Huwa 'Arĥamu Ar-Rāĥimīna. (Yūsuf 12:64)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Er sagte; "Kann ich ihn euch etwa anders anvertrauen, als ich euch zuvor seinen Bruder anvertraut habe? Allah ist besser als Behütender, und Er ist der Barmherzigste der Barmherzigen." ([12] Yusuf (Josef) : 64)
English Sahih:
He said, "Should I entrust you with him except [under coercion] as I entrusted you with his brother before? But Allah is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful." ([12] Yusuf : 64)
